How do I make a video in another language?

Pick the language on the create form, under Language, before you generate. DistilBook then writes the narration in that language and voices it, so the script itself is in your language, not translated afterwards. There are 19 options: English (US), English (UK), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Bahasa Indonesia, Turkish, Swedish, Russian, Finnish, Vietnamese, Ukrainian, Greek and Hindi. English also has an optional accent: American, British, Australian or Indian English. Your source document can be in a different language from the video.
What do you need before you start?
- A new video, before generation. The language is set on the create form.
How do you do it, step by step?

Open Language
On the create form, choose from Language. English options come first, then the other languages grouped by voice quality.

Pick a voice
Choose the Voice. For English you can also pick an Accent.

Review the script in that language
The narration screen shows the script in the language you chose. Check names and terms before generating.
What are the limits?
The honest list, so you know before you start rather than after.
- The app lists some languages as Excellent quality and others as Good quality. Preview the voice for your language.
- To make the same video in two languages, generate it twice.
Common questions
Can my PDF be in English and the video in Spanish?
Yes. The source and the narration language are independent. The script is written in the language you choose.
Are the on-screen labels in my language too?
The narration is. Check on-screen text on the first slide, and use the narration review to set terms the way you want them.
