How do I edit the narration before the video is made?

DistilBook always pauses after writing the script. On the narration screen every slide's narration is a text box you can edit directly: fix names, numbers and wording, cut lines, or rewrite them. The pencil icon renames a slide. Regenerate rewrites one slide's narration and Regenerate all rewrites every slide, and both accept your own instructions, such as shorter or simpler. The Generation Plan panel shows what will be drawn. When you are happy, press Generate Video. The narration is locked once generation starts, so this screen is where you make sure the AI did not change or invent anything.

Read every slide
The Narration panel lists each slide's script. Read it the way a viewer will hear it.

Edit in place
Click into any slide's text and type. Use the pencil icon on a slide to change its title.

Or regenerate with instructions
Press Regenerate on one slide, or Regenerate all, and add an instruction such as make it simpler or keep the exact numbers.

Start generation
Press Generate Video. From here the narration is fixed and each slide is drawn and voiced.
What are the limits?
The honest list, so you know before you start rather than after.
- Narration cannot be edited after generation starts. Make every wording change on this screen.
- Regenerating narration writes new text, so check it again before you generate.
Common questions
Can the AI invent facts in my video?
It writes the narration from your source, and you see every line before anything is made. That review is the check: nothing is drawn or voiced until you approve it.
Can I use my own script word for word?
Yes. Paste it in the Narration tab of Motion Explainer, or tick Use my text as the narration in Guided Explainer.
