How do I download my video?

To download a DistilBook video, open it and press Render. In Render Settings choose the Resolution, 720p (HD), 1080p (FHD) or 2K (1440p), and press Export Video. When the render finishes, press Download and pick the resolution. Free videos carry a watermark: when you render on the free plan you can choose Proceed with watermark or upgrade to render without it, and 2K is on paid plans. You can also download subtitles from the Subtitles panel as .VTT, .SRT or .TXT, which is useful for course platforms and YouTube.

  • A paid plan for a video without the watermark and for 2K (1440p).

    Press Export Video. On the free plan, choose Proceed with watermark or Render without watermark, which needs a paid plan.

    Subtitles (optional)

    Open Subtitles and download .VTT, .SRT or .TXT.

What are the limits?

The honest list, so you know before you start rather than after.

  • Free renders carry a watermark and go up to 1080p.
  • If you change the video after rendering, press Re-Render to get an updated MP4.
