Synthesia has a free Basic plan, Starter at $29 a month ($18 billed yearly), Creator at $89 a month ($64 yearly) and custom Enterprise pricing. Paid plans are measured in video minutes: 10 a month on Starter and 30 on Creator. The free plan cannot download videos.
How much does Synthesia cost?
Synthesia costs $0 on Basic, $29 a month on Starter ($18 a month billed yearly) and $89 a month on Creator ($64 billed yearly). Enterprise is custom. Starter includes 10 minutes of video a month and Creator 30.

Can you use Synthesia for free?
You can create on the free Basic plan, with 10 minutes a month and 9 avatars, but you cannot download the videos. Downloads start on Starter.
Which Synthesia plan includes a brand kit?
Synthesia's pricing table shows brand kits on Creator and above, while its documentation says brand kits are available on Enterprise plans. Confirm with Synthesia before you buy if your logo matters.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Synthesia?
For explainers without an avatar, DistilBook starts at $15 a month with your logo on every paid plan, 30 free credits and no card. It turns documents into illustrated, narrated videos instead of avatar scenes.
Synthesia remains the stronger choice for large organisations that want a consistent presenter across hundreds of training videos and need enterprise governance.
