HeyGen has four self-serve plans: Free, Creator at $29 a month, Pro from $49 and Business at $149, plus Enterprise on request. The free plan makes up to 3 short watermarked videos a month; Creator removes the watermark and adds a brand kit. Below is what each plan includes and who each one suits.
How much does HeyGen cost?
HeyGen costs $0 on Free, $29 a month on Creator, from $49 a month on Pro and $149 a month on Business (plus $20 per extra seat), with Enterprise priced on request. Annual billing is cheaper; check HeyGen's page for the current yearly rates.

Does HeyGen have a free plan?
Yes. HeyGen's free plan needs no credit card and makes up to 3 videos a month, each up to 1 minute, with a watermark. It includes PowerPoint and PDF import.
Which HeyGen plan includes a brand kit?
The brand kit starts on Creator at $29 a month, the same plan that removes the watermark.
Is there a cheaper alternative to HeyGen for explainer videos?
If you do not need an avatar, yes. DistilBook turns a document or notes into an illustrated, narrated explainer from $15 a month with your logo included, and gives 30 free credits with no card. It draws scenes for your content instead of putting a presenter on screen.
HeyGen is the better choice when a person on screen is the point of the video. DistilBook is the better choice when the visuals have to explain the idea.
