Because you supplied the script, the AI is illustrating rather than authoring, so the wording stays yours. A 400 word script becomes roughly a 4 slide video, and the first narrated slide plays about 6 minutes after you start.

Will it change my script?
No. When you supply a script, DistilBook narrates your words and generates scenes to match. It only rewrites when you ask it to, which is the opposite of the document flow where the AI authors the script for you.
How long a script can I paste?
Length maps to slides, and a slide costs 10 credits. At a normal narration pace of about 150 words a minute, a motion slide (about 25 seconds) holds about 60 words and a whiteboard slide (about 2 minutes) about 300. So a 400 word script is about 7 motion slides or 2 whiteboard slides. The free 10 credits cover the first slide. How do I control where scenes change?
Use paragraph breaks. Each paragraph becomes a scene, so breaking the script the way you want it paced is the control.
Can I use my own voice recording?
Yes, on the Pro and Max plans. Record about a minute of your voice once on My Voices (or upload a recording), then pick it as the narrator for any video, in any of the 20 narration languages. Basic and free accounts use the built-in AI voices. A finished voiceover track can't replace the generated narration.
Is script to video free?
Signup grants 10 credits with no credit card, enough for the first slide of your video; the rest unlocks on a paid plan. Paid plans start at $20 per month for 230 credits.
What if I do not have a script?
