Can DistilBook import Google Slides directly?
Not through a Google integration. Download the deck as a PDF first, which is one menu click, then upload that. There is no workspace connection to authorise.
What happens to my speaker notes?
They are not exported in a standard PDF download, so they are not read. If your notes carry the real narration, paste them in as a script instead, which keeps your wording.
Will my slide design carry over?
No. DistilBook generates its own animated scenes from the content in your chosen style. If you need the exact deck design on screen, use Google Slides' own record feature instead.
What about animations and transitions in the deck?
Slide transitions and object animations do not survive the PDF export and are not recreated. The video gets new animation generated for the content.
